Product Description
Cefixime Oral Suspension IP Dry Syrup is most commonly indicated for pediatrics use and is prescribed for treatment of various bacterial infections. It is effective for pneumonia, Lyme disease, and strep throat. This syrup works by inhibiting final step of transpeptidation thus resulting in bacterial death. This action is achieved by binding to PBPs that are responsible for peptidoglycan synthesis. Cefixime Oral Suspension IP Dry Syrup belongs to third generation cephalosporin class of drugs and shows about 30 to 50% of bioavailability.
